TO PIRATE OR NOT TO PIRATE

All scallywags are encouraged to dress in their family-friendly pirate finery.  If ye don’t that is okay too – just be prepared to have a Pirating good time whether ye be sporting knee high boots, sashes, plumes, eye patches, wooden legs and swords.

When you do dress in your very best Pirate garb which includes any type of weaponry, you must ‘peace-tie’ your steel.  If you are not peace-tied, security will provide zip-ties.  Please be a responsible pirate and peace-tie.

 

 WHAT TO BRING, WHAT NOT TO BRING

BRING

Camera, blankets, collapsible/portable lawn chairs for field seating in the music venues, baby strollers and your very best “YARRR!”

DON’T BRING

Soft drinks, alcohol and food (vendors will be selling all three).  Glass containers, Coolers, Illegal Substances (including narcotics), Explosives, unauthorized Firearms.

Unauthorized vending of food, drinks or merchandise is strictly prohibited.  No unauthorized samples, handbills, or solicitation will be permitted.

Vulgar, profane, and lewd language or actions will not be tolerated.

No alcohol sales or drinking will be allowed by any guest under the age of 21.  Must have proof of age!

Any festival goer who creates a disturbance or is deemed to be a danger to other guests or themselves will be invited to leave the festival.

All who violate the stated policies will be removed from the festival grounds.  No refunds if removed from the festival.

PETS
Domestic pets are welcome at Pirate Days. Pirate pets are best! All pets must be leashed, properly vaccinated, and under control. Pet owners assume full responsibility for their pet’s behavior. If a pet appears to be out of control the guest will be asked to remove pet from the festival.

SECURITY

You and your family’s safety while at Pirate Days is key to a fun, safe and memorable event.  Every reasonable effort has been taken to create a secure and safe environment.  On-site security will be provided by various local law enforcement agencies. 

Emergency medical assistance will be available throughout the Pirate Days Festival.  If you need emergency medical attention dial 911 otherwise seek out the medical tent or a police officer for assistance.

LOST & FOUND

During the Festival all Lost & Found items will be taken to "Treasure Island". After the Festival the items will be held for 48 hours and can be retrieved by contacting 972-625-2776 or Kids Count Too, 5150 Page Rd. The Colony, TX 75056.  All items not retrieved after 48 hours will be donated to CCAC of The Colony charity. Pirate Days of Texas will not be liable for any unclaimed property.
